Car Buddy is the result of the evolution of Mileage Wizard and is the ultimate assistant for tracking economy, maintenance and statistics for your vehicles. Analyze economy trends, track service entries, track trips and more! Key features: Powerful fuel, Service and Schedule Entry History Sort by vehicle, date, entry type or cost. Filter by one or more vehicles. Group entry entries by vehicle, date or entry type. Filter by specific entry types. Ability to enter fuel entry details: Date/time Vehicle Cost Quantity and its respective type (gallons or litres) Distance travelled and its respective type (miles or kilometers). This can be either entered directly or calculated by the Odometer Helper Association of the entry to an existing trip Whether to add this fuel entry's distance to the recorded odometer of the vehicle Dynamic display of economy and price/unit User-defined fuel stations User-defined payment type User-defined purpose User-defined fuel type (e.g. regular, diesel, etc). Allows you to decide whether your economy is affected by fuel types Personal/business purchase type classification, including area to include a client/project code (if applicable) Notes specific to the fuel entry Ability to enter service entry details: Date/time Vehicle Cost - supports itemizing by parts and/or labour entries User-defined purpose Invoice number User-defined service stations User-defined payment type Association of the entry to an existing trip Ability to categorize entries of the service as warranty/recall Ability to track 2 different kinds of taxes (via percentages or explicit values) Notes specific to the service Ability to enter schedule entry details: Due by odometer and/or date Set a corresponding calendar reminder Set recurrence patterns based on time passed or distance traveled Notes specific to the scheduled entry Car Buddy allows association of its fuel and service entries with a trip so you can see how much a trip has cost in total. One or more vehicles can be included as well as trip-specific expenses. Want to get a quick economy calculation? No Problem! The Quick Calc tab allows quick and easy economy calculation for your one-time economy needs! Year, make and model and color of your vehicle. Current odometer value that is optionally updated with each fuel entry. Default fuel type. Tag information, including Plate Number, Tag expiry date/cost, and an optional reminder for tag renewal. Unlimited spec information, for things such as Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), oil type, filter types, etc Notes specific to the vehicle. Graphing is very useful in determining how a given service or fuel type may have affected your vehicle's economy. There are 3 graph types available: Consumption Costs by entry Costs per month Ability to: Plot by trip Plot by date range Select specific vehicles to use Default Options Set the program to default to different kinds of quantity (US & UK gallon support!), distance, and economy types. Intelligent Import ability Do you keep all your economy data in a spreadsheet and don't want to exert the energy to manually enter it all into Mileage Wizard? No problem! Car Buddy now has an intelligent Import Wizard that imports csv (comma-separated values) files. You can quickly and easily create a csv from your current spreadsheet. There's no exact format expected and the Import Wizard detects the imported file's column count, names and allows you to map each of these columns to Car Buddy's fuel entries! If you currently have Mileage Wizard data, you can import that information as well. You can choose to import a complete vehicle or just its fuel entries.
